Download E-aadhar Card By Name & Aadhar Number @eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in

Aadhaar card has now become a necessary ID proof for both identity and address confirmation. Proving equivalent to the tasks, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) Started Aadhaar services which aren’t restricted to devoting Aadhaar number to the Indian residents.

What is E-aadhar?

E-Aadhar is an electronic version and soft copy of the original Aadhar card, Which can be downloaded online on submitting an individual’s Aadhar number, enrolment ID or VID number. E-aadhar is equal and valid everywhere in the world and holds the same value as the original aadhar card.

Now we know the Importance of the aadhar card. So, if you haven’t enrolled for aadhar card yet then visit nearest aadhar card center and fill up addhar application process.

Once you complete aadhar enrollment then you will give Enrollment slip using which you can check aadhar card status. Once your Aadhar application has verified then you can able to Download your eaadhar card online. Here are simple steps to Download E-aadhar card online.

Download E-aadhar using Enrollment ID

  • Now on the Homepage, you can see “Get Aadhar” Tab. Click on “Download Aadhaar“ option given under the Get Aadhar Tab.

  • A new page will open called “Download E-Aadhaar by using your Aadhaar, EID or VID”.
  • Now Under the section that says ‘Enter your Personal Details’, choose ‘Enrolment ID’.
  • Now enter your 14 digit Enrolment number and the date-time printed on the Enrolment slip in the first box.
  • After that enter your full name as registered at the time of Aadhaar Enrollment. Now Enter your PINCODE of the address mentioned in your Aadhaar.
  • Enter the Security code.
  • In case you have a TOTP, check the box that says ‘Yes, I have TOTP. Do not send me OTP’ or in case you do not have a TOTP, click on the button that says ‘Request OTP’.
  • The OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
  • Once you get the OTP then enter the 6 digit OTP and hit Enter

Once you fill up all the details and provide the OTP you will able to download your Eaadhar PDF at the end.

Download Eaadhar Using Aadhar ID

This method is almost similar as the previous method. You just have to select UID instead of EID number and need to enter your UID number.

  • Open the official website of UIDAI – uidai.gov.in
  • On the Homepage Select “Download Aadhaar“ option under Get Aadhar Tab.
  • You will now be redirected to another page called ‘Download E-Aadhaar by using your Aadhaar, EID or VID’.

  • Under the section that says ‘Enter your Personal Details’, choose ‘Aadhaar’. (As Seen in the Figure)
  • Enter Aadhaar number in the first box.
  • Enter your full name as registered in your Aadhaar application.
  • Now Enter your PINCODE of the address mentioned in your Aadhaar.
  • Enter the Security code.
  • In case you have a TOTP, check the box that says ‘Yes, I have TOTP. Do not send me OTP’.
  • In case you do not have a TOTP, click on the button that says ‘Request OTP’.
  • The OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Once you get OTP to enter it in the last Box and Hit Enter.

Once you finish with all the steps your E-aadhar PDF file is ready to Download.

You can take a printout of this Eaadhar Copy and use it as the original aadhar card.
